Pico Bufaran (623m)
On January 7, 2011 was a bridge of Kings and leverage to make this small route already 'd done last summer but a bike (almost bust), so like a good day dawned cloudless and sun myself unbeatable advantage to climb to the peak Bufaran.
The first thing to clarify this peak is the mess that is his name and also known by the name of Gorfoli but has nothing to do with this, the Bufaran is the peak of satellite communication and the highest mountain Illas council, while the Gorfoli is directly opposite that has no antenna and is the highest mountain in the municipality of Llanera.
This route can be done from two different points from the village of Callezuela in Illas, or the people in the council Villayo Llanera was from where I do because I stays closer to home.
eleven o'clock in the morning and a great day of sun and cloudless all go out from the small town of Villayo surrounded by traditional houses, granaries and Asturias where we find the sign that shows us the way, this route due to its low gradient, its short drive and offers magnificent panoramic views, make it a good choice to enjoy at any time of year.
begin to walk down a road that no loss and lead us to the summit, at first the road goes in a small forest in slow and gentle climb. As we walk, the vegetation changes gradually, eucalyptus and chestnut trees give way to scrub, the gorse, heather and already at the top with us most of the way pine.
The wide path is more steep at times, the trees are disappearing and will soon begin to enjoy the landscape that provides the route.
Slowly we climb in a zig-zag always with incredible views across the mountains of Syria, and the council of Llanera, after an hour or so we agree to a fork where the road coming from the council and Illas in this meet.
From here the trail becomes steep rise along the southern slope of the peak where we are catching up quickly, here I agree with some another rider that due to the steep incline of the road going almost the same pace.
rush now the last meters of the road where the views are truly magnificent day thanks so clear them up, on one side and the distance I could see perfectly the Cabo de Peñas, Asturias Airport, just below the estuary of Avilés with Niemeyer bright new center, the port of Gijón Musel and on the other side of the Picos de Europa mountain range and all Aramo cojeéis so if a day like I was lucky to get one can be almost an hour contemplating the magnificent scenery as it happened to me.
For once ate a skewer enjoying the scenery and done a lot of photos and I can only give back the same way up is done in much less time as it is all in soft down, so without further a beautiful mountain ride so as to prepare the legs for the new season.
Pablo Lara.
Time: 2 hours.
Difficulty: None.
This route is also known among fans of mountain biking.
Starting to walk one day truly spectacular.
In the distance we can see our goal.
Halfway and we could see perfectly Gorfofi peak (maximum height of Llanera) and so many people confuse his name with Bufaran.
acaballo
Even people found this day with the route, the truth that with the day to be worth it.
At this point the two paths meet, which comes from Llanera and Illas coming from, you can do well on both sides.
Halfway
views and Aramo Llanera are splendid.
I'm closer to the summit.
The view from the summit are impressive just below you can see perfectly Avilés (/ zoom).
The Cabo Peñas (/ zoom).
Asturias airport (with zum).
Gijón (/ zoom).
Musel The new port, Gijón (/ zoom).
I think this must be one of the first pictures of Neimeyer's center from the peak Bufaran Avilés (/ zoom).
The impressive Picos de Europe (zum).
The Aramo in all its fullness, we can even see the smoke from the heat completely straight Ferreros which indicates that this day did absolutely no air and it was all completely clear (with zum).
christ Mount Naranco of Oviedo with Aramo back, I think ultimately up to Bufaran on a clear day like the one I picked, fully deserves the penalty only to admire the magnificent views of Asturias You can see from here (zum).
