Mucus Spotting Before Period

6 th Stage Major Salim-Fonsagrada

At about half past seven we were on foot , we prepared and went down to breakfast at the hotel dining room were not the first and had plenty of companions at breakfast, the theme of the evening was none other than ruin the day we had again, just in time breakfast was dropping a tremendous downpour and top with a strong wind.
After the great breakfast and spare us put our strength for today's stage, at about nine o'clock and the bus was picking us to lead to large Salime starting point for the beautiful stage today, May 9, 2010 . The path to large
Salime on the bus was really devastating for the amount of water that was falling at the time, but good nonetheless our arrival at Grand seemed that things would calm down a bit. Grandas
Once we get ready we take umbrellas and raincoats and get ready to tackle the 26.7 miles from today, we gather at City Hall and walk to that.
first collegiate pass for that is dedicated to San Salvador, is the most notable building in the village of Grand.
Built probably in the twelfth century, donated by Fernando II, or early next century, during the pilgrimage of Alfonso IX in 1222, in which the King would station in the town.
Once in town we passed through the AS-28 (in this day we will have to walk a few miles by road). We ascend and come to the Farrapa Cerejeira first and then alternating the road and a series of parallel paths till the soul flooded by rain fall these days but with spectacular views. Castro Met, where there is a beautiful chapel (see photo), this town has shelter and is well known for its Celtic settlement (see photo) from Chao Samartín where did the first stop of the day and where we were waiting for the bus if needed something, we go ahead without rain, and oddly enough a half hour we passed the chapel of San Lorenzo, but once we went back to the AS-28 to the height of Gestoselo, at this point we all group together to begin Acebo climb to port (1,024 meters).

Collegiate Church of San Salvador (Grandas of Salime)

Early in the morning were putting the market on Sunday morning with more than unpleasant.

Salime Grandas City Council, the starting point of the stage.

The first leg of the route is always trying to avoid the road but in the end there are areas we have no choice but to leave it.

The beautiful chapel of the town of Castro.

Castro's famous Chao Samartín and talk about them both Isabel San Sebastián in his book Astur

Acebo
The rise has nothing to do with the broken leg yesterday, this port is much milder slopes and needless to say, most boring. The AS-28 begins to climb steeply from Gestoselo and goes up to Peñafuente (10.5 km of the stage), at this point we leave the asphalt road we take a well-marked with shell that leads to a highway to where we can play the high hand almost like yesterday in the windmills so abundant throughout the area.
In the high and then regroup all that with the rise was again quite apart from each other, once cooled a bit and disfrutado de un pequeño de rayo de sol que salía tímidamente entre las nubes emprendemos de nuevo nuestro camino hacia tierras gallegas.
I personally winches better step in the churches.
Gradually the time is improving and we Fonfría gentle descent, people who once had a hospital for pilgrims in a building that today is dedicated to housing, in this town is where we had lunch stop was at a CatroVentos wonderful restaurant called where they gave us the perfect refreshment for lunch once and eaten and rested a bit, we started the final leg of the route, at this point and only 18 of the 55 we start, the miles are taking their toll on separate people and not accompanied by a long time. We made our way

and reaching Paradanova (24.8 km of the stage), and the panoramic Fonsagrada houses at the top, starting the last effort of the day. A tough hill by a road parallel to the road that is saved with determination just by looking at the closeness of our destiny. At the entrance to Fonsagrada legs take you directly to the first bar, where they want to finish with its water, juice or beer and where I sealed the card again. Fluid replacement after we went to the bus where we were waiting to take us back Ricardo Asturias.

Step 5 Pola de Allande-Big Salim

not know what I will remember the steps that I need to get to Santiago de Compostela, but the memory I have of these two days by the way will be forever engraved in me despite the terrible time we had the two days.
On the one hand the incredible scenery of the first day of Pola stage-Large Allande Salime, through magnificent beech and oak forests which almost could not shoot because of the deluge that hit our heads down Salime to the reservoir and then the landscape so different from the Asturian villages of this area that have nothing to do with the central and eastern Asturias, and how not to highlight the magnificent organization of both the guides that lead these roads like the perfect arrangement with the bus waiting for us from time to time if someone "breaks" and the magnificent four star hotel with spa included (these are the shelters that I like) that will put the club Fresneda including dinner with her beautiful and perfect picnic Sunday to despreocupáramos we have to buy food.

Departing from Allandesa we breakfasted.

Allande Pola Town Hall, starting point of the fifth stage.

The first steps of the day for the town of Pola de Allande.

Walking through the first forest of beech and oak trees and saving the streams of Nison by wooden bridges, this area is truly beautiful.

Jesus, the group's official photographer.

stage we do on Saturday March 8, 2010 was Pola de Allande-Large Salime, we left at 8 am on the Club de Campo La Fresneda towards Pola de Allande with a constant rain that would not leave us in all day, we Pola de Allande where we left the bus and then go all the Allandesa breakfast (one of the great restaurants in Asturias), where we ordered the breakfast, after a good Pinchin tortilla with a corresponding coffee, we started the long walk ahead of Salime today to large.
We start from the same town hall in front of the Allandesa along the main road along a mile more or less smooth ascent to the left take a path, we soon found crossing the road to the hostel Peñaseita, the approach to Puerto del Palo is long and gaining altitude slowly, almost imperceptibly.
we follow and go through the village of La Reigada the environment is great, we greet one another peasant who we want to track, we now by a thick forest of beech and oak trees and saving the streams of Nison by wooden bridges, This area is truly beautiful, taking advantage of the magnificent forest we stop to make the first stop of the day, cool off a bit and contemplate this magnificent forest vegetation surrounded by stunning in this area I think we take all to do a lot of photos as the rain gave us a truce.
From this point begins the first day rompepiernas the Puerto del Palo, without a doubt the greatest slope of the Camino Primitivo, ascending from the 524 meters to 1,150 of its top, but from my point of view despite being one of the more strenuous routes is also one of the most rewarding of all the Camino Primitivo. Soon
out again on the road under a constant rain and the cross, and now, rising hardens noses, we take another path straight and tough climb takes us to a source and a few meters from the summit in this source again as we take all real camels drinking after exercise and hope to package it all and we were really far apart from each other due to sharp rises in Puerto del Palo, after recovering a little encouragement from rain starting again and a thick fog and with a rather low temperature we tackle a couple of powerful fireworks ramps as final and we finally arrived at Puerto del Palo (1.150m) where we can see through the fog and cold on the bus which was waiting for us to make a short break and take some food to take it. Once recovered
forces together on one side bus to give us the less air as possible, undertake further progress through a dense fog and occasional snow field just the other side by a drop to its loose rocks from the road and the constant rain made it quite unpleasant.
After that we got down to the pretty village of Montefurado, where there was a hospital for pilgrims.
Montefurado is small village in today and just live a neighbor in which a small group of old houses abandoned almost entirely, while we waited again to group all take the opportunity to take a short walk through the village to take some pictures and talk a little with the only neighbor, who kindly showed me his stables and cattle and introduced me to his magnificent mastiff more would later be pictured with the group and the poor was so loving that even become so heavy that he cherished, a character the famous dog that is well known among the pilgrims. Well
us after all the group photo in the chapel of Santiago de Montefurado taking advantage of a moment that stopped raining again embark on the road, we begin another rise and subsequent fall, always on trails and dirt roads with real views impressive of the valley, always with the windmills so numerous throughout the area. Later we went to a side road and reached the village of lake where we stopped to take a picture of your church and the majestic yew beside this is one of the largest of Asturias and in perfect condition, soon found the local pub which is a joy for me all because we allowed many to take a quick cervecina, charros a little owners and recuperate.
our way now proceed without any difficulty and charro and watching the magnificent scenery and arrived safely after walking about three miles by a magnificent pine stocking is worth seeing for its magnificent conservation Berducedo where we are waiting for the bus again to collect the bags in which we have the food.
Berducedo is the last town council of Allande and this town has housing, shops and bars, also has a couple of tables and benches in a very small recreational area where the expedition takes to eat and more chilly as I prefer to eat in the bar and shop where very kindly let us eat without any problem. Once
fartucos and taken to the cafeteria to prepare Gotes legs again, we turn back the march of Salime Grandas at this point of the route and some people prefer to go by bus because it's still raining and still to large we have a bunch of miles on the last downhill to the dam, however the mere echo of Berducedo already have reached more enough for the first day. Well
the end of the 55 that started in Pola de Allande we continue the path 35 which is not bad, so come and continue to encourage walking to us late.
Berducedo Leaving on a path soaring and soon followed a secondary road to the small pretty village of La Mesa, where there is a small hostel located in the old school where we take the group to seal our famous badge that gradually Stamp fills. We continued
now soaring, 200 meters of altitude in just over a mile high in parade can be viewed as a row of wind turbines to which we will gradually closer to almost touch his hand, the view from the top are again magnificent.
We continued our walk and came to the tiny and beautiful village of Buspol always accompanied by the constant rain that would not leave us all day, we make a brief stop to re-package it all in the beautiful, tiny chapel atech Buspol while waiting on that Chapel we Madrid forward three pilgrims who cross themselves when passing by it and later meet. From Buspol
tell us that begins the breathtaking descent to the reservoir Salime and possibly the longest and toughest of all descents in all of the Caminos de Santiago, Pyrenees apart.
This drop was so dramatic that both impressed pilgrims from other times coming down to the village on the banks of Navia Salime and that ran deep gorge which had to cross high on the old bridge. Both the old people as the bridge are currently covered by the waters of the reservoir.
begin this fall following a track density of earth and stone, soon as we can see in the distance the dam and the village of Grand Salime, just hard to start down this track livestock and rain if we do not we pouring rain and therefore the lack of photographs in this beautiful forest of chestnut and oak trees that accompanied us for much of the road.
The descent that more than having an excessive inclination you have is a term that seems that will not go on forever, is divided into three zones, the first being the least rough passes through an area bare and deserted, and after a couple of miles around this area we entered a beautiful pine forest and then turn left (do not even want to tell the wetting impressive that we had at this point the road) for a path for me was the prettiest of all day an incredible forest of oak and chestnut trees with green this time of year was quite spectacular and I guess this fall has to be something precious.
At the end of the forest the trail leads to the same AS-14 (see photo) that guides us and then short walk to the reservoir dam.
This reservoir was built between 1948 and 1954. Preparatory and ancillary works were of great importance. Tunnels were built to divert the river, shops, roads, inclines, a cable car to transport the material of 36 kilometers long, coming to the port of Navia.
came to work about 3,500 workers and several villages were built to house their families which are still visible today but they are totally abandoned.
When completed in 1954 was the largest in Spain and second in Europe. Well as I was saying
finally arrived to the dam where the other side of the dam we were waiting for the bus to terminate the first stage of the day, we hope to arrive around the group since the last drop between the first and the last half hour was almost difference.
For once everyone on the bus with a stunning dipping Fonsagrada we came to where we had booked rooms at the magnificent Hotel Fonte Sacra (these are shelters and other pijadas) we get a hot shower to remove the cold and then a beer before going to dinner together this hotel, once dined like lords and said all that had befallen us throughout the day I take my cola-cao the Sabbath (vasu gim and tonic with ice cider) and the bed is to get up early tomorrow we expect another hard hike.
Pablo Lara.
