Vegan Mofo: Breakfast in a trice!

Hello!

I love this from the Vegan Mofo! ! It makes me think of new recipes, different and fun to try and share. Especially recipes that are quick and nutritious. And faster than a banana sandwich with almond butter, maple syrup and chocolate chips!

Sandwich banana and almond butter

1 banana halved
1 tablespoon almond butter **
maple honey to taste
Sparks chocolate (or cocoa nibs) to taste
Place
open banana almond butter spread all over.


add a few chocolate chips.


and cover with half of bananas.


So as you could take a bite!

Put a little maple syrup, some more chocolate chips (never enough, lol) and enjoy a rich cup of almond milk, soy, rice or a cup of tea in chamomile or green!


Yumm!


** almond butter (or any nut)
1 cup of almonds a pinch of salt

almond butter is super easy to do, just need to put the almonds in food processor and a pinch of salt and process 10 to 15 minutes or until it forms a paste and almonds have brought their rich oils. It is important during the process, some processor pairs to lower the almonds with a spatula that will be hitting the walls of the container. Once you are ready almond butter, place in a glass jar and store in the refrigerator.

This kind of butter you could make it through India's nuts, pecans and peanuts and you can add different things to give a special touch. It could be anything from a little cocoa, vanilla or piquín chile to give it a spicy twist!
